Neon is a lovely bitch. She has a wonderful front, which she produces and nice rear. She is a bit long and does not carry a stellar topline - one of my pet peeves. She has a nice ground covering gait and is clean coming and going. Her head is average and she has lovely pigmentation. She has had one litter, which produced Nessie.
Neon's temperament/work ethic is tremendous. She loves to work, tries hard and does not need a strong correction. She can be quite exuberant, but can settle down. She is a good retriever and nice strong swimmer.
She has been shown very limitedly. She won a Best Opposite in Sweeps at the Dallas Specialty at a year of age. Unfortunately between her coat being very difficult to deal with and her topline I did not campaign her.
Neon is trained through open and almost ready for a WC. At this point I am trying to decide if I am going to settle for a 190 performance in obedience and just get the titles or polish more to get the 195+ scores. She is VERY capable of high scores if I choose to put the time in to polish a little more. She will tenatively be bred at her next season.
